I. Introduction
Continuous Extrusion Machine Universal for Copper and Aluminium Profiles uses a continuous extrusion process. Through the change of production consumables, round copper / aluminum rods are used to produce various specifications of copper bars, copper strips, copper rods, steering trapezoidal bars, semi-finished copper alloy contact bars, and various specifications of aluminum bars, aluminum rods, round aluminum tubes, square aluminum tubes and various special aluminum profiles.
II. Equipment major components and description
1) Extrusion machine
The extruder uses continuous extrusion process to extrude oxygen-free copper / aluminum rods. Its principle is using the friction between the deformed metal and the die, the rod is continuously fed into the cavity by the frictional force on the wall of the extrusion wheel when the extrusion machine is continuously rotating; Its characteristic is that there is no need for external heating under the huge force between extrusion and friction, the heat in the deformation area can be as high as the heat in recrystalization area, where the metal can be shaped and forced into the chamber and through the die.
The copper or aluminium profile can be shaped at one time and products in various specifications can be made only by changing the consumable such as dies.
2) Water cooling system
The water cooling system includes two independent system, internal circulation system and the external circulation system.
The internal cooling ensures that the finished product does not oxidize and discolor. It also ensures that the temperature of the equipment components is at a moderate level to ensure the continuous normal operation of the equipment.
The external cooling exchanges and cools the heat of the internal circulation system through a heat exchanger, reduces the water temperature in the internal circulation system, and ensures the normal operation of the internal circulation system.
3) Electrical control system
The electrical control system consists of a touch screen, PLC and other parts. The PLC controls the operation of the entire production line and with the functions of automatically collecting and processing the equipment operating process parameter data and the equipment working state parameter data. The collected data is displayed on the touch screen and the operator can keep track of the production and equipment status and save various work data in the system for easy access.
On the touch screen, the operating parameters of each component of the equipment can be adjusted to meet the needs of producing different products.
The system has multiple automatic protection or alarm functions such as over-temperature, over-current and etc. When the value of detected data exceeds the allowable value, the system will enter the automatic protection status or prompt the alarm to ensure safe production.
4) Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system provides continuous and stable ultra-high pressure locking function for the shoe to ensure the pressure requirement for continuous producing for a long time. The system pressure adopts the high-pressure pump compensation mode. The high-pressure pump has a short working time and energy saving, and the oil temperature is low and the sealing is not easy to aging. It is also equipped with the oil pressure indicator, hydraulic oil filter and so on. Hydraulic pump and components all adopt well-known brands in China. The lubrication system uses a gear pump circulation method to provide lubrication and cooling for the bearings of spindle and gears in the gearbox.
5) Take-up machine
Using reel moving type take-up and keep the profile in the center position to reduce the deformation of the finished product.
It adopts servo or torque control to arbitrarily set the traversing range and take-up tension. Different types of take-up machines can be selected according to the equipment and product size.
